I’m planning a UST projector setup for my living room and trying to figure out the best way to integrate everything.
One thing I’m struggling with is that most UST projectors are pretty noticeable sitting on a normal cabinet. I like the idea of having a cleaner setup where the projector and screen are not always the main focus of the room.
I’ve seen some motorized projector cabinets that can hide the projector when it’s not being used, and it looks like an interesting solution.
Has anyone here gone this route? How has it worked out for you compared with a traditional TV stand or open shelf.
Mainly curious about real-world experiences — things like heat, noise, alignment, and whether you actually use the automatic features regularly.
